Delhi

This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We'll then enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India's oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and a carpet emporium. Tonight, we enjoy a group dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 3

Delhi– Varanasi

(Flight Time: Approx 1 hr 30 mins)

After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight to Varanasi. Tour the many sights including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and a visit to Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon.

Mumbai, the economic capital of the country is also known as the city of dreams or the city that never sleeps. Mumbai is the city which itself can actually give you a Glimpse of what India is. The richest of the rich and the poorest of the poor all live here chasing their dreams in harmony. Dowry practice in India is fought against by many these days. It is banned by government. But had this cluster of islands not given in dowry by the Portuguese to the English, Mumbai still would have been same as it was!! Who would have thought some 300 years back, that this small town with 7 islands around would become an epitome of Indian economy?

Day 4

Varanasi - Khajuraho

(Flight Time: Approx 1 hr)

Early morning Boat Cruise on the river Ganges: sunrise on the Ganges is a soullifting experience. Later fly to Khajaraho, famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples and its beautiful erotic rock carvings.

Day 5

Khajuraho - Orchha - Agra

Morning drive to the village of Orchha, the former capital of the Bundela dynasty. After lunch, continue to Jhansi and take the train to Agra. Transfer to the Agra for two nights.

Agra

View the spectacular Taj Mahal at sunrise then after breakfast, visit the huge Agra Fort . Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri- Jaipur

(Driving Time: Approx 6 hours)

Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted 16th century red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and abandoned just 15 years later. Continue to Jaipur where you will spend the next two nights.

Jodhpur

City tour of Jodhpur. Later take a jeep safari to the tribal Village Of Bishnoi, an eco-friendly Hindu sect famous for their love of nature.

Jodhpur- Ranakpur - Udaipur

(Driving Time: Approx 7 hours)

Drive south to the Lakes city of Udaipur, visiting the exquisite Jain Temples at Ranakpur en route. Arrive at the Udaipur in the late afternoon for a two night stay.
