Bull Temple: Also called "Nandi temple" or the Bhoganandiswara temple, it happens to be a sculptural magnum opus. You will find a large sculpture of Bull, about 4.6 metres tall and 6m long. It has been carved from a single rock of granite and this is one of its striking features.
Lalbagh Botanical Gardens: Often translated as “Red Garden", it is the star attraction of the city spread over a rambling 96 hectares and is opulent in a diversity of flora. It was founded by Hyder Ali in 1760 who appointed it as a personal withdrawal for himself. It is popular for its collection of infrequent trees.
