Wildlife Sanctuaries near Delhi

Your journey will start from the north of Delhi, where you will come across the Corbett National Park, which is around 300 Km from the city. While travelling by road, you will have to follow the Hapur-Murababad-Ramnagar route. After reaching Ramnagar, you can reach the park using other road transportation available. The nearest airport here is Phoolbagh in Pantnagar which is situated at a distance of 50 Km from the park. You should visit it in the months between November and June.
Next in line are the Ranthambore National Park and Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary which are situated towards the south of Delhi. Sariska is around 200 Km from Delhi and is open throughout the year. Ranthambore is 450 Km from Delhi and is open from October to June.
Bandhavgarh and Kanha National Park are situated in the South Eastern side of Delhi. While Bandhavgarh is 250 Km from Delhi, Kanha is 991 Km far. You should visit Kanha in the months between February and June and Bandhavgarh must be visited between March to June. You can travel to both these parks either by road or train.
