Guangzhou Tower stands taller than anything else in the city, and its bubble tram climbs up over the rooftops. This 3-day stopover is built for a China layover, with 2 nights on the ground and a private guide throughout. It suits travellers passing through on their way somewhere else, with little time and a genuine wish to see something.
Day two carries the trip: Guangzhou Tower's tram ride, a Cantonese Yum Cha lunch, a wander through Beijing Road's mix of old and new architecture, and a Pearl River cruise once the city lights come on. Transfers, entrance fees and meals as stated are included. Among China holiday packages, this is a stopover for a transit window, not a full tour.
Day 1: Arrival in Guangzhou
Your guide meets you on arrival and takes you to your hotel by private vehicle. The rest of the day is free.
Day 2: Guangzhou Tower and the Pearl River
After breakfast, you head to Guangzhou Tower, China's tallest TV tower, for a bubble tram ride at the top. A Cantonese Yum Cha lunch follows, with a wide selection of local dishes. From there you continue to Yongqing Fang and Beijing Road, where old and modern architecture sit side by side among local vendors, boutiques, department stores, bookstores and tea houses. The day ends with a Pearl River night cruise, the city lit up around you.
Breakfast and lunch.
Day 3: Departure from Guangzhou
The day is free until it's time for your private transfer to Guangzhou Airport.
